It’s that time of the year again when everyone plays pretend

It's that time of the year when organizations and schools ask for donations, reminding you that it would be tax deductible, while pretending you are valuable to them beyond the money. They why haven't I heard from them the reset of the year? It’s the time of the year when people pretend to care,
the time when they give good wishes to each other, give away
presents to each other and do good
